Has anyone else had any similar problems? I've been playing the game a lot lately in preparation for the third title in the series, so this is kind of bumming me out. This has happened probably a dozen times since it started I haven't been able to play the game at all since it began.
I saw a "sr2_pc.exe has stopped working" error message and the ol' "Windows is searching for a solution to your problem" bubble before I was informed that it (surprise, surprise) couldn't find a solution. The game went to the loading screen, but then crashed before loading the actual playable game. The game loaded to the main title screen and I hit "Continue". I verified my game cache and booted the game again. This morning, I tried to boot the game and I got an error message saying that my game files couldn't be synced with the Steam Cloud. For the past several weeks, since I installed the Gentlemen of the Row mod (1.8) it's been working perfectly. I've got Saints Row 2 in my Steam library.
